Event Planning The Atherton Hotel is the perfect backdrop for a conference, meeting, wedding or special occasion. The Atherton Hotel is centrally located on campus with easy access to an excellent variety of facilities both on and off the OSU campus. A variety of meeting rooms are available at The Atherton. Among the special rooms for your consideration are the Carreker Lounge, the Joullian Vineyard Wine Tasting Room, and the Jorns Conference Room. We also work closely with the OSU Alumni Center, and the Student Union or other campus event sites. In addition, we offer full service catering on and off property. The Atherton Hotel’s sales and catering staff can help guide you to the perfect facility for all your Conference needs. It is our goal to make your event comfortable, memorable and successful.
Carreker Lounge
The Carreker Lounge is a traditional and warm reception room off the main lobby of The Atherton. It is decorated in beautiful peach and browns and features rich hardwood furniture with a grand piano and massive fireplace. This room is ideal for larger gatherings that need an intimate feeling.
Joullian Vineyard Wine Tasting Room
The Joullian Vineyard Wine Tasting Room is located on the second floor of the hotel and reflects a cozy ambiance in a soft floral décor. This décor compliments the beautiful cabinetry displaying a large selection of wine. Rich leather chairs accent the exquisite hardwood in the Tasting Room. You may also choose to enjoy the veranda that looks over Theta Pond and the beautiful OSU gardens. Comfortable furnishings, music and lighting make this a fun place to expand you event to the outdoors.
Jorns Conference Room
For small board meetings and luncheons, we suggest the Jorns Conference Room. It provides a quiet and intimate atmosphere, yet fully functions for all your meeting requirements.
The Ranchers Club
An exceptional dining experience in an innovative setting, The Rancher’s Club opened its doors at The Atherton in late August 2005. Guests are surrounded by an upscale western atmosphere highlighting ranches of the west. The handpicked cuts of beef and an array of the finest fish, fowl and pork are featured on the menu. Enjoy outstanding cuisine, the highest standard of service, and an extraordinary atmosphere. Together these items celebrate an exciting new approach to cuisine in Stillwater. Private dinners can be scheduled Sunday through Wednesday nights. Ranchers Club Dining Hours: Breakfast M-F 7:00-9:30 a.m., Sat-Sun 7-10:30 a.m., Lunch T-F 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m., Dinner T-Sat. 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Taylor’s Dining Room Taylor’s Dining Room is located on the west side of campus in the HESW building. It is elegantly decorated in creams and beiges with touches of black. During the semester, Taylor’s is operated as a fine dining teaching laboratory at lunch hour. It is available for private dinners, wedding receptions and meetings on weekends and evenings and the Rancher’s Club Catering provides exclusive catering for Taylor’s.
